What's new with SalesPRO version 5.0.195
This article will explain the new features and updates to existing features that were introduced in version 5.0.195
Note: In this article, Q/S/O refers to quotes, sales and orders.
New Features
The ability to export to QuickBooks Desktop has been added
Found under the Workflow tab, use the Send to Accounting command to list all the customers, invoices, purchase orders, etc. that need to be sent to QuickBooks. This feature has been enhanced from version 4.2. It will now check for invalid data configuration before you export and will allow to you export data such as products, employees, etc. There are a number of KB artices on this process which can be found here.
It's easier to test formulas in the Expression Editor
The Expression Editor has been updated to make it easier to test formulas as you create them. By referencing a quote, sale, order or purchase order and a specific line item the expression editor can tell you right away if the formula will work.
Updates to Existing Features
The size of the drop-down list of customers in Order Entry has been reduced to address issues when Order Entry is run on small screens
On systems with small screens, found on some laptops, the customer drop-down list would not be usable. It's been made smaller now (fewer results) so that it will be usable in more situations.
Other
- More Option Detail Settings are loaded when products are scanned.
Bugs Fixed
- The sort order of line items on purchase orders is now the same as it is on the sale/order.
- The ItemWidth() and ItemHeight() functions now work correctly with fractions.
Fixed a bug that prevented email from being sent when SMTP settings were used at the employee level.
