Summary

Beginning with SalesPRO version 5.0.227, users can easily change the sequence in which Additional Charges and Customer Promotions are listed in Order Entry.  Below are instructions. 


Instructions

  • From within the SalesPRO software, navigate to the Maintenance tab. 
  • Select the icon for Additional Charges or for Customer Promotions.
  • For this example, we'll work with Customer Promotions.
  • Below is a screenshot which shows the Customer Promotions Group  "% Discounts".
  • Currently they are listed by order added.  We want to change them to sort lowest discount to highest discount. 




  • Click on the Discount you wish to view 1st in the list, and then click on the Edit button.
  • In the Sequence field, place the number 1.
  • Press OK.



  • Repeat for all other promotions found within the group % Discounts, increasing the sequence number for each promotion. 
  • When completed, the list will be sorted properly.




A couple of notes:

  • You may need to close the Customer Promotions window and reopen to see the newly sequenced list. 
  • Customer Promotions and/or Additional Charges can only be re-sequenced if they are located within the same group.
