Summary

This article explains how to print output from SalesPRO.

To Begin

Before attempting to e-mail individual documents within SalesPRO, be sure you have completed the printer setup process.

More Information

For any type of printed output in SalesPRO, a copy of the PDF version can be emailed to anyone desired.   There are four methods for doing this:

  • From Order Entry
  • From the Quote, Sale, or Order Toolbar
  • From a Print Preview
  • From a saved PDF file.

Method 1: Print from Order Entry

  • In Order Entry on the 'Actions' tab, click the down arrow under the item you wish to Print,  then select 'Print'.  This can be done in the Edit Quote, Edit Sale, or Edit Order Window.

  • Selecting 'Print' will send the job directly to your designated printer.

Method 2: Print from the Quote, Sale, or Order Toolbar

  • The Quote, Sale, Or Order Toolbar is available only when you have either the Quote, Sale, or Order window open. (From the Home tab, click on Quotes, Sales, or Orders.)
  • In the Quote, Sale, or Order toolbar, you may select the down arrow under the form you wish to print, and select Print.

  • Again, the job will be sent directly to your designated printer.

Method 3: Print from a Print Preview

  • To view a Print Preview, click the down arrow under the document you would like to preview, and select 'Preview'.
  • Once the document is generated, click the 'Print' icon.

  • This will create a window where you will choose the printer.

  • Choose your printer and click OK.

Method 4: Print from a saved PDF file

  • With a Print Preview open, select 'Save As'.

  • Navigate to where you would like to save your document, and click Save.

  • Open the saved document and select 'Print'.
