This article contains important information regarding upgrading a Fujitsu Stylistic Q702 driver to improve touch and pen functions. .


Important

Please note that it is highly recommended to do a complete Data and Operating system backup prior to beginning the upgrade.


More Information

As of February 23, 2015, Solatech Support notified all affected customers of an issue with the touch and pen functionality reported to Fujitsu.  The email included an attachment from the Fujitsu support website.


Recommended Solutions  (This information comes directly from Fujitsu Support):


Solution 1

Download and install the N-Trig Calibration Utility (please note that this utility is the same package for Windows 7, Windows 8 or Windows 10).   

  • N-Trig Calibration Utility for Windows 7 & Windows 8, 32-bit & 64-bit:FPC48-0442-01_Calibrate_1.0.0.5_26.7z.

Upon completion, test to see if the issue has been resolved.  If it has not, proceed to Solution 2 


Solution 2

Download and install the N-Trig DuoSense Multi-Touch Package.  Please note:  You will need to select the correct download based upon your operating system.  Windows 10 users, will select the download for Windows 8. 

  • N-Trig DuoSense Multi-touch Package for Windows 7 32-bit & 64-bit:FPC48-0969-01_Digitizer_4.12.3073.10_60.7z - package contains the N-trigFirmware update (version 3.0.8.3.1.34).
  • N-Trig DuoSense Multi-touch Package for Windows 8 32-bit & 64-bit:FPC48-0968-01_Digitizer_4.12.3075.19_60.7z - package contains the N-trigFirmware update (version 3.0.8.3.901.33).



Packages should be downloaded from FAI support site:  http://support.fujitsupc.com/CS/Portal/supportsearch.do?srch=DOWNLOADS&Series=Stylistic&Model=Stylistic%20Q702&ProductType=Tablet%20PC . 


Note: 


Windows 10 customers should use the version for Windows 8.


The packages must be applied on the system with Administrator privileges.
