Summary

This article explains how to skip the check for free disk space when attempting to upgrade a SWCS

company.

More Information

In order to upgrade a SWCS company the Solatech Window Covering Software will attempt to make

sure there is enough free disk space for the automatic backup that will be performed. If the software

determines that there is not enough free space it will abort the company upgrade process. On some

systems this check fails even though there is enough free disk space. Use the steps in this article to

skip this free disk space check and allow the upgrade to proceed.

You can also follow the steps in this article if you receive the error code 172 while performing an

upgrade and you know there is enough free disk space on the computer.
