This article explains the scenario where the ability to search for quotes and/or orders is unavailable.

The ability to search for quotes and/or orders is determined by the security privilege to view
orders. If this security privilege is set to No Access then users will not be allowed to search by
clicking Find from the Tasks menu.
To check the current setting:
- Log in as an administrator.
- From the View menu, click Employees.
- Select the employee that does not have the desired access and click Edit.
- Click on the Security tab.
- Under the Employee Security Profile section, click the button to Set Access Levels (the key icon).
- While viewing General privileges, check the settings for Orders. If it is set to No Access then the ability to search for quotes or orders will not be available. Change the setting to at least View to enable the search function.
