Symptoms

After creating a new company on a Roaming Workstation you receive the message

This company is not a 'Roaming' company; it cannot be opened by a Roaming Workstation.

You receive this message even though the computer is a Roaming Workstation.

This can happen if you have to activate your license when the company is first opened. Currently,

the company created is marked as a roaming or non-roaming before the license is activated. If the

license is not yet activated then the company is always marked as non-roaming.

Create a new company. It will be created as a 'roaming company' instead of a non-roaming

company. You will then be able to access it.

Solatech has confirmed that this happens when a new roaming company is created and when the

software license has not been activated. As more information becomes available this article will be

updated.

The Solatech Window Covering Software treats roaming and non-roaming companies differently and

because of this it prevents non roaming companies from being opened on a roaming workstation.
