Symptoms

After installing new or updated products, the product shows no options or styles when selected in

order entry.


Cause

The exact cause is not known, however the xml file that is normally created for each product fails in

certain situations. Resetting the XML file causes it to be rebuilt and normally eliminates the problem.


Workaround

No other workarounds have been identified for this issue.


Resolution

To resolve this issue, open Product Manager. Double-click the problem product to open the Edit

Product window. Click on the Advanced tab. Click "Reset XML". Close the product manager. Create a

new quote or order (no need to save this). Select the problem product. The XML file should be

rebuilt, and the product should now work properly.


Status

Solatech has verified that this issue occurs in certain instances. The above resolution normally takes

care of the problem.
