Summary

The instance of SQL Server for Solatech was found on this computer however a connection to the

server could not be made.


This problem can also occur if testing multiple connections to the company database fails.

This could happen if:

  • The user 'sa' on the server was deleted or renamed.
  • The password for the 'sa' user was removed or changed.


Use Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio Express to log into the server and fix the 'sa' user.

Contact Solatech for information on how to repair the 'sa' user.


The Solatech instance of SQL Server (SOLATECHDB) should never be changed or used by any other

application other than the Solatech Window Covering Software.
