Summary
In SalesPRO, you can add a margin to any Net Cost Surcharge items. As a reminder, Net Cost items are added to the product price at your cost. By entering a Margin (AD) to these products, you can easily increase your profit. Below are instructions to add or modify the Margin (AD) amount.
Instructions
- From within SalesPRO, navigate to the Maintenance tab and select Discounts.
- At the top of the Discounts window, select the group Standard.
- If you do not see the column Margin (AD) go to the View menu, and place a check mark to the left of After Discount(AD).
- Add the desired After Discount Margin in the Margin (AD) column.
- Close the Discounts window to exit and save your changes.
- In order entry, when you select a product that includes Net Cost Surcharges, the Net Cost Surcharge will be marked up by the appropriate amount.
- in the example below, a 50% Markup was used.
- When we look at a price breakdown, we can see a 50% markup applied.
