Summary
When working on a quote or sale you notice that a preview of the quote or sale doesn't reflect the same totals as the Order Entry page. This can occur when the following conditions exist:
- The quote or sale includes a customer promotion, given as a percentage and shown as a product item.
- The quote or sale has been duplicated and line items have been changed.
- One or more line items have been added or deleted since the quote was originally created.
Why This Happens
When a quote or sale has been updated/changed multiple times, the current order entry status must be saved to the system. Before this action occurs, a preview will still show the previously saved information.
Solution
- Save the quote or sale and then close.
- Reopen the quote or sale.
- Preview, and the preview should match the Order Entry page.
