Problem

When you set your Windows system to use large font settings, > 150% for example, this causes the logo and other images to appear small when printed on reports generated from SalesPRO.

Cause

The reason the images appear small is due to the way that the printing engine that SalesPRO uses. When it renders the images on the report it always uses a DPI of 96 (100% font size) instead of the current setting.

Solution

Unfortunately this behavior cannot be changed. The suggested work around is to set SalesPRO to run a normal DPI even if Windows itself is set to use high DPI. This can be done by adjusting the Disable display scaling on high DPI settings on the Compatibility tab of SalesPRO shortcut.

  1. Close SalesPRO.
  2. Right-click on the SalesPRO Icon located on the Desktop.
  3. Click Properties.
  4. Go to the Compatibility tab.
  5. Check the box labeled Disable display scaling on high DPI.

  6. Click OK.
  7. Run SalesPRO.
  8. The application text and images will appear smaller as they will be using normal font sizes (96 DPI), however this will allow images to be rendered normally when printing or previewing reports.
